Indoor pollution in Senegal

These data were obtained following a collection of medina (dakar) populations. They are used to provide answers to the following hypotheses:
What are the relationships between indoor air pollution and respiratory diseases?
What are the socio-demographic factors that contribute to increasing levels of indoor air pollution?

In the end, they showed relationships between the genesis of the conditions and the factors that degrade indoor air quality, such as the living room and ventilation. These socio-demographic, environmental and health data were collected through a questionnaire, measuring devices (QUEST and AQ Pro) and a spirometry examination (Spirobank II). The interpretation of spirometry was based on the American Thorax Society/European Respiratory Society (ATS/ERS) guidelines that define obstructive conditions. The environmental data were compared to the recommended World Health Organization (WHO) guideline values. All of its data was subsequently interpreted with software R to understand the potential links that exist between the targeted factors.
