The dataset includes three main scenarios: Scenario Description Lab In-lab testing at CTTC premises OpenArms Maritime field trial in an Open Arms vessel CroceRossa Land field trial in Croce Rossa Italia premises The tests focus on the seamless handover of TN-->NTN-->TN while operating different applications without interruption. Lab tests emulated a mobility scenario with slow SINR degradation. OpenArms and CroceRossa scenarios emulate a sudden SINR drop. The applications used are: Ping Iperf3 Airbus Agnet MCx app (exercising messaging, Push-to-Talk (PTT), and audio calls) Traces were obtained from different devices, which used NTP synchronization to the same server. However, as field trials resulted in non-connectivity intervals, perfect synchronization cannot be assumed. Data The dataset is split in folders for each scenario, with folder for different data sources:root├───CroceRossa│ ├───App_KPI│ ├───Grafana│ ├───Iperf3│ ├───NTN_Radio│ │ ├───Antenna│ │ ├───DL│ │ └───UL│ ├───Tshark│ └───VHO_algorithm├───Lab│ ├───App_KPI│ ├───Grafana│ ├───Iperf3│ ├───NTN_Radio│ │ ├───DL│ │ └───UL│ ├───Tshark│ └───VHO_algorithm└───OpenArms ├───App_KPI ├───Grafana └───NTN_Radio └───Antenna Notice: During the OpenArms maritime demonstration, equipment failure limited the duration of the testing campaign and, consequently, the number of available measurement sources. As a result, the OpenArms dataset contains fewer data sources than the other scenarios. Dataset statistics The following table provides high-level statistics for the three scenarios included in the dataset. File counts and storage sizes are reported per scenario and for the dataset as a whole. The time span indicates the temporal coverage of the available measurements.
