Proportions of direct and discovery searches per Google My Business 2018

Based on a study conducted from 2017 to 2018 of Google My Business listings across various industries, 84 percent of customer searches for businesses are discovery, while 16 percent are direct. A discovery search refers to a listing appearing after a customer searches for a product offered by that business, whereas a direct search refers to a customer directly searching for the business name or address.

基于2017年至2018年间对谷歌商业信息中各类行业列表的研究，我们发现，客户对企业进行搜索的目的中，84%属于探索性搜索，而16%则属于直接搜索。探索性搜索是指当客户搜索该企业提供的商品后，出现的商业列表；而直接搜索则是指客户直接搜索企业名称或地址的情况。
