<b>Version 1: original</b><br>These files contain the results presented in the manuscript "Spatiotemporal Heterogeneity in Greenland Firn from the Synthesis of Satellite Radar Altimetry and Passive Microwave Measurements" authored by Kirk M. Scanlan, Anja Rutishauser and Sebastian B. Simonsen (DOI: 10.1109/JSTARS.2026.3651847). The results are organised into 71 different files; one containing the results at locations of in situ measurements and 70 containing monthly pan-Greenland results. Note that monthly results correspond to the 10 non-melt seasons (i.e., October through April) as described in the related publication.The organisation of the data in the two types of files is slightly different. Units for the different data can be found in the netCDF metadata.<br><b>A) InSitu_Results.nc</b>1) In situ results are labelled using the measurement identification scheme used in the community database (DOI: 10.18739/A2M61BR5M).2) For each in situ location, the following relevant metadata are provided; latitude, longitude, month, year, ice sheet thickness (from BedMachine, DOI: 10.5067/GMEVBWFLWA7X), eps:3413 x coordinate, and eps:3413 y coordinate.3) L-band H- and V-polarization passive microwave brightness temperatures from SMOS (analysed as described in the manuscript) along with the accompanying radiometric accuracy and standard deviation can be found under the "smos" group.4) The relative dielectric permittivity of the Greenland Ice Sheet surface for each in situ location derived from ESA CryoSat-2 and ISRO/CNES SARAL can be found under the "rsr" group.
