Additional material for " Two Decades of Abyssal Upwelling Observations Reveal Shortcut in Atlantic Overturning" by Messias, M-J and H. Mercier. This repository contains five datasets. Two datasets are for the hydrographic line A9.5 measured in 2009 (UK cruise JC032) and 2018 (UK cruise JC159). The A9.5 files are classic .nc format with global attributes, dimensions and variables as follows: Station Number, Bottle Number, Latitude, Longitude, Sea Water Pressure, Sea Water Practical Salinity, Sea Water Temperature, Sea Water SF6, SF6 Flag, Sea Water CFC-12, CFC-12 flag, Sea Water CFC-11 and CFC-11 flag. The others three datasets are for the Brazil Basin Tracer Experiment (BBTRE) measured in 1997, 1998 and 2000. The BBTRE data were provided by Jim Ledwell as supplementary material to the paper by Ledwell (2024): The Brazil Basin Tracer Release Experiment: Observations. Journal of Physical Oceanography 54, 1105–1120 (2024).
