This FAIRsharing record describes: GLIS is made available according to Art. 17 of the International Treaty to facilitate access and exchange, based on existing information systems, on scientific, technical and environmental matters related to plant genetic resources for food and agriculture. This service assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (PGRFA) for reference in third party systems and scientific literature. Access to the system is free and open to anyone.
