资源简介:
These are the data that were used in the analyses for the article, “Brain Volume Fractions Across Mammals with Relation to Behavior in Carnivores, Primates, Ungulates, and Rodents,” in Brain, Behavior, and Evolution (in press, 2020). These data consist of a list of the species used, the measure of the whole brain in cubic mm, and the fraction of the whole brain that was devoted to given brain structures. The data were based on a set of images obtained the following website: http://www.brainmuseum.org/. The brains from which these images came are from University of Wisconsin and Michigan State Comparative Mammalian Brain Collections, as well as from those at the National Museum of Health and Medicine. The preparation of all these images and specimens was funded by the National Science Foundation and the National Institutes of Health.
