DISTRIBUTION OF ACANTHOPHYLLUM GYPSOPHILOIDES REGEL IN CENTRAL ASIA

Based on the analysis of literary sources, major herbarium collections (funds), and online databases, information regarding 130 herbarium specimens and photographs of the investigated species was compiled. This data was analyzed over the years to study the annual dynamics of specimen collection. Furthermore, the most effective collectors who contributed to the species collection were identified, and the main herbarium funds were investigated. As a result of this study, a modern distribution map of the species across Central Asia was created for the first time, and a synopsis detailing its distribution by country is presented.
