This repository contains Table S2 from the manuscript "Emergence of an evolutionary innovation: Gene expression differences associated with the transition between oviparity and viviparity". <br><br>Table S2: Annotation of the <i>Saiphos equalis</i> transcriptome based on best NCBI BLASTX and BLASTP (v2.7.1+) hits against the SwissProt database and <i>Anolis carolinensis</i> (AnoCar2.0), <i>Pogona vitticeps</i> (GCA_900067755), <i>Gallus gallus</i> (GRCg6a),<i> Mus musculus</i> (GRCm38.p6), and <i>Homo sapiens</i> (GRCh38.p12) reference proteomes. Any predicted signal peptides or transmembrane helices based on analysis with SignalP and TmHMM are indicated. Genes are also annotated with EggNOG Orthology terms, KEGG Orthology terms, and Gene Ontology terms (based on hits to both the SwissProt and Pfam databases).
