Bovine Mammary Epithelial Cell Response to Nocardia cyriacigeorgica Infection

This study investigates the transcriptomic response of bovine mammary epithelial cells following infection with high and low virulence Nocardia cyriacigeorgica strains. The aim is to elucidate host defense mechanisms, inflammatory signaling pathways, and cellular processes involved in differential susceptibility to infection. Understanding how mammary epithelial cells respond to varying bacterial virulence levels will provide valuable insights into bovine mastitis pathogenesis and may support the development of improved prevention, early diagnostic, and therapeutic strategies.
