Features mapped from two pan sharpened multi spectral satellite images of eastern Heard Island, from Shag Island to Compton Lagoon to Capsize Beach. The images were captured from Quickbird on 17 January 2003. The features include coastline, glaciers, lagoons, moraines, snow, vegetation, lakes and watercourses.\r\n\r\nMore information about the images used, the processing, and the feature mapping are documented in an image report available for download at the url given below.
