Investigation of the bacterial communities and microbial gene functions of Echinomuricea (Anthozoa: Holaxonia)

Echinomuricea are marine invertebrates that are important to ocean ecosystems. Here, our study aimed to provide the first data of the bacterial community, and microbial gene profile in gorgonian Echinomuricea sp. from parts of the western of the Gulf of Thailand. Bacterial diversity was the most abundance among microorganisms of those gorgonian corals.
