Training, Validating and Useen Data from CMIP5 CanESM2 and TMD Weather Observations for Precipitation Modeling

This repository contains processed datasets and scripts used for station-level precipitation downscaling. Dataset: 1. CMIP5 CanESM2 climate model outputs obtained via the Earth System Grid Federation (ESGF, https://esgf-metagrid.cloud.dkrz.de/). Scenarios included historical, RCP2.6, RCP4.5, and RCP8.5, covering the Thailand region. Original datasets are licensed under CC-BY-4.0. 2. Observed station-level weather data from the Thai Meteorological Department public API (https://data.tmd.go.th/api/doc/xml/ThailandMonthlyRainfall.xml, accessed on [15 Mar 2025]), covering 1980–2020. Code:- Python scripts used for preprocessing, feature extraction, model training and model comparison.
