资源简介:
During carbon catabolite repression (CCR) Hfq acts as the principle post-transcriptional regulator of catabolic genes in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In addition, the catabolite repression control protein (Crc) is known to play an ancillary role as full-fledged translational repression by Hfq of some CCR-regulated mRNAs required its presence. The RNA-seq based transcriptome analyses performed here reveal a substantial overlap between the Crc and Hfq regulon, which in conjunction with genetic data supported a collaborative action of both proteins.
