资源简介:
Food security in emerging economies is increasingly shaped by the resilience of agri-food supply chains under market volatility, environmental uncertainty, and coordination complexity. Prior research has emphasized macro- and household-level perspectives, with limited attention to how firm-level capabilities contribute to supply chain resilience and food system outcomes. This study investigates how market orientation and bricolage capability influence adaptive capability, and how adaptive capability, in turn, affects sustainable supply chain practices and firms’ contribution to food security. Adaptive capability is hypothesized to mediate these relationships. Using a quantitative approach, survey data were collected from 285 rice milling firms in Indonesia and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results show that market orientation positively affects adaptive capability, whereas bricolage capability is not significant. Adaptive capability significantly enhances sustainable supply chain practices and food security contribution, and mediates the effect of market orientation on both outcomes. These findings highlight the critical role of adaptive capability in enabling firms to anticipate, respond to, and recover from supply chain risks, thereby strengthening supply chain resilience and food security
