资源简介:
The current study investigates the role of AI in improving educational quality in higher education and provides a discussion on challenges and opportunities arising with respect to its adoption. A systematic literature review was conducted using the PRISMA protocol; a search was carried out in the Scopus, Web of Science, EBSCO, and ProQuest databases. The search strategy and the inclusion criteria resulted in 22 studies exploring different applications of AI in higher education. The findings also show that AI has great potential to provide personalized learning, optimize educational management, and enhance administrative efficiency in public universities. These could, however, be hindered by a few obstacles in reaching complete effectiveness, which include highly developed technological infrastructures, enough teacher training, and the guarantee of ethical data treatment regarding privacy and equality of access. The conclusion emphasizes that an educational policy to support the implementation of AI fairly should be crafted and the reshaping of existing pedagogic frameworks for accommodating the new technologies should be done. Moreover, limitations involve the variability of the methodological quality of included studies and not having included research in other languages, which would suggest that future research extend the analyses to different socio-economic and cultural contexts.
