Emerging genomic assays for identification of chikungunya virus infection in asymptomatic blood donors from Puerto Rico, 2014. Homo sapiens

The Virochip microarray (version 5.0, Viro5AGL-60K platform) was used to verify the presence or absence of Chikungunya virus in RNA extracts from asymptomatic blood donors located in Puerto Rico. Overall design: We used the Virochip microarray as secondary verification of Chikungunya positive and negative samples.
