This study introduces two unconstrained datasets for COVID-19 prevention and control: ISL-UFMD and ISL-UFHD. ISL-UFMD contains 21,316 facial images for mask detection, while ISL-UFHD includes 32,293 images for face-hand interaction detection. These datasets were collected via the web, covering various poses, lighting conditions, resolutions and ethnic groups to ensure data diversity. The datasets are developed to monitor mask wearing, face touching and social distancing through computer vision systems, thereby helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
