资源简介:
This file contains the data obtained by direct nanoindentation of the Salicornia cell wall in situ through an atomic force microscope. The data correspond to Salicornia population collected from Inowrocław.The study of the variability of nanomechanical properties coupled with image analysis of cell architecture during salt stress as underexplored tolerance traits represents a major issue. It helps in understanding the molecular assembly because the CW structure is important in plant resistance to abiotic factors.GENERAL INFORMATIONTitle of Dataset: Young modulus stiffness Salicornia cell walls under salinity levelsAuthor/Principal Investigator InformationName: Stefany Cardenas PerezORCID:https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3919-3498Institution: Department of Geobotany and Landscape Planning, Faculty of Biological and Veterinary Sciences, Nicolaus Copernicus University in TorunAddress: Lwowska 1, 87-100 Torun, Poland Email: cardenasperez@umk.plCo-investigator InformationName: Agnieszka PiernikORCID:https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0800-5266Institution: Department of Geobotany and Landscape Planning, Faculty of Biological and Veterinary Sciences, Nicolaus Copernicus University in TorunAddress: Lwowska 1, 87-100 Torun, Poland Email: piernik@umk.plDate of data collection: 05.2023 Geographic location of data collection: PolandInformation about funding sources that supported the collection of the data: National Science Center 2021/43/D/NZ8/01137SHARING/ACCESS INFORMATIONLicenses/restrictions placed on the data: CC0DATA & FILE OVERVIEW1. Young modulus stiffness Salicornia cell walls under salinity levelsMETHODOLOGICAL INFORMATIONIn total, over 1000 valid force curves were obtained. The Young’s modulus (E) of each sample was obtained from the retracting forceindentation depth curve through Hertzian contact mechanics through the cross-section of S. europaea stem cells. All nanoindentation measurements were performed with a Bruker (former Veeco) Bioscope 2 at. force microscope. The cantilivers used were a tipless MLCT-O10 probe from Bruker (AFM Probes - MLCT-O10, n.d.). Colloidal probes were prepared with polystyrene beads (25 µm diameter)Methods for processing the data: the data was performed using NanoScope Analysis software v 2.0DATA-SPECIFIC INFORMATION FOR: Young modulus stiffness Salicornia cell walls under salinity levelsNumber of variables: 5 (salinity treatments)Number of cases/rows: <300 for each variable
