Individually marked Richardson's ground squirrels were observed and live-trapped throughout the active seasons of 1987-2004 at a site near Picture Butte, Alberta, Canada. Reproductive data (dates of mating, parturition, litter emergence; litter size and sex ratio) were recorded for each adult female. Inter-anual survival (to spring of the subsequent year) was recorded for all adults and juveniles.
