Hays Inlet Environmental Path

The aim of this project is to create a 1,000 metre path and boardwalk from an entrance at Silcock Street, Clontarf through Silcock Street Park, leading to a viewing platform overlooking the Hays Inlet. The path and boardwalk will provide access for the public through to the shores of Hays Inlet. It is proposed that having experienced the diverse habitat and striking scenes within the area, members of the community will gain a greater appreciation of what is a wonderful and valuable natural resource. By providing this access and awareness, the project partners will help to safeguard the marine and surrounding environments of Hays Inlet for the crucial local flora and fauna species, and provide for the ongoing benefit and enjoyment of current and future generations of the local community.
