This FAIRsharing record describes: The NITE Biological Resource Center Culture Catalogue (NBRC) collects potentially useful biological resources (microorganisms and cloned genes) and distributes them to promote basic researches as well as industrial applications. Information includes the source of isolation, culture conditions, literature and sequence by searching for strains using NBRC number or scientific name. Closely related strains can be discovered by performing a homology search using sequence data.
