MEC1 cells were derived from the ventricular epicardium of E13.5 embryos of the ICR/CD1 outbred mouse strain by Li et. al (PMID: 21429986 PMCID: PMC3074453). We examine the effect of treatment of MEC1 cells with a pan-agonist of the retinoic acid receptors (RARs) or DMSO-vehicle control on gene expression. We examine the transcriptome of MEC1 cells treated for 48 hr with 10nM TTNPB or DMSO.
