资源简介:
The MiPPAD birth cohort of Benin has for overall objective to study the early determinants of children's health and development. The cohort followed offspring born to pregnant women included in the MiPPAD trial. This six year follow-up included data collection on offspring neurodevelopment and health, including malaria, anemia, iron deficiency, blood lead level, pesticides and anthropometric measures. Neurodevelopment was assessed in detail by trained assessors and included the Kaufman Assessment Battery for Children (KABC-II), the Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency (BOT-2), the Test of Variables of Attention (TOVA) and the Strength and Difficulties questionnaire (SDQ). It also included socioeconomic environment and maternal mental health. The cohort takes place in a semi rural area in the district of Allada, including Allada, Sekou and Attogon, in Benin, sub-Saharan Africa. Overall, 590 children were followed at mean age 6 years and 3 months. More information may be found here : https://www.irset.org/en/mippad-benin-mother-child-cohort
