Natural and constructively enlarged depressions for surface induced managed aquifer recharge (MAR) within Brandenburg´s lower Spree catchment

The included subsets outline natural and construcively enlarged depressions to be utilized for surface induced recharge measures to counteract water withdrawals and reduce the vulnerability of the groundwater as well as connected surface waters and ecosystems. In case of constructively enlarged sinks this included the locations for trapezoidal embankment structures to be introduced to utilized the outlined recharge areas. The result are expressed by a numerical indexation and summarized in a final index for each sink.
