In this study, bacterial communities in PCB-contaminated soil were resuscitated using Rpf from Micrococcus luteus, and functional strains with high-efficiency PCB degradation were isolated from PCB-contaminated soil, and investigate whether strain can maintain PCB-degrading capability without Rpf supplementation.
