16s rRNA sequencing data of oral samples about obstructive mouth breathing children

All samples were collected by the same researcher between eight and ten AM to minimize diurnal variation. Participants were instructed to refrain from eating, drinking, and performing oral hygiene measures for at least 8 hours prior to sampling. Samples were collected from multiple anatomical sites using disposable sterile cotton swabs: the mid-dorsum of the tongue, bilateral buccal mucosae, soft palate, hard palate, and bilateral palatine tonsil surfaces. At each site, the swab was rotated five times for approximately five seconds to ensure adequate sample collection. Immediately after sampling, swabs were placed into a single sterile cryovial, transported to the laboratory on ice within four hours, and stored until further processing.
