Physical stores were the leading retail channel for sales of textiles, clothing and footwear in Brazil from 2010 to 2020. That last year, gross sales of this industry through physical stores amounted to more than 118.9 billion Brazilian reals. Although still a small sales channel for this kind of products in the South American country, the internet showed a constant growth in gross revenue during the depicted period, increasing from 0.46 billion Brazilian reals in 2010 to 15.9 billion reals in 2020.
