Microplastics (MPs) are the primary form of marine plastic debris, which are small enough to be ingested by marine organisms. This dataset contains information including the quantity, shape, length and other relevant characteristics of MPs in the digestive tracts of 19 fish species captured through field surveys in the Yellow Sea in 2016. It can provide data support for offshore ecological safety assessment, the development of assessment models and other related research.
