Effect of estradiol, zearalenone and apigenin on ER-positive breast cancer cells MCF-7

To understand the molecular effect of E2 and the dietary compound zearalenone and apigenin on MCF-7 proliferation. Results provide insight into the pathway involved by these dietary compounds on MCF-7 proliferation. Effect on MCF-7 gene expression of E2, zearalenone and apigenin was assessed after 24 h of exposure. Four independent replicates for each treatment were performed.
