Staurois parvus adult frog tissue

To identify unique expression patterns in spinal cord, leg muscle, and brain of Staurois parvus frogs, with the goal of creating a resource for future studies to understand the evolution of an elaborate hind limb signaling behavior called "foot flagging" in this species. Overall design: We dissected whole brain (n=2), spinal cord (n=4), and hind leg thigh muscle (n=5) from adult male Staurois parvus frogs raised in captivity at the Vienna Zoo. We placed fresh tissue in RNAlater until further processing.
