Human placenta whole genome sequences

The placenta is essential for healthy pregnancies. To better understand this important organ, we are studying specific placental cell types, including a polyploid cell type and its diploid precursor. Here, we examine whether there is genomic copy number variation in HLA-G+ polyploid placental cells compared to diploid EGFR+ placental cells.
