Abstract Aim: Exercise elicits adaptations in several physiological systems, such as the gastrointestinal tract. We evaluated the effects of an acute strength exercise (acute-SE) on gastric satiety and its correlation with creatinine kinase (CK), lactate, and plasma cytokine levels in humans.
