Data collected to analyse relationships between stress and eyewitness memory

This data comes from a set of studies as part of the PhD project: Novel methods to the model non-linear relationship between stress and eyewitness memory. The research tested novel methods of inducing greater variability in the stress response with the intention of using induced stress to model performance on eyewitness tasks. After experimentally validating the stress induction procedure, memory performance was tested using a basic face matching paradigm as well an applied eye-witness paradigm. Experiments were conducted in the ACSENT lab at UCT using the novel Plagiarism Accusation Stress Test (PAST). Four levels of stress were induced in different groups of participants. All participants did some memory tests including basic recall tasks and applied eyewitness identifications.
The accompanying R.proj and RMD files allow one to reproduce the analysis in full. Some data cleaning and recoding is done in this analysis and can be followed with the comments in the rmd.
