Its core indicator is the number of employees (in thousands) categorized by gender, occupation and educational attainment. The data is sourced from the ILOSTAT database of the International Labour Organization (ILO), obtained via its REST API and filtered to include only Asian countries. The dataset covers detailed categorical dimensions including gender (total, male, female, etc.), occupational skill level classifications and aggregated educational attainment categories. Each observation contains information such as country code, data source, indicator code, categorical variables, year, observed value and data status flag.
