The data set is divided into 10 folders of olivine, pyroxene, amphibole, biotite, plagioclase, andalusite, staurolite, garnet, actinolite and oolite according to mineral types, with a total of 1249 pictures. Among them, 8 kinds of mineral thin sections are photographed under single polarized light and orthogonal polarized light, and 2 kinds of mineral thin sections are photographed only under orthogonal polarized light.
