WGS of Neospora caninum NC-Liverpool tachyoites

WGS was performed for NC-Liverpool tachyzoites grown in vitro in Vero cells. Sequenced reads were quality controlled and groomed, and subsequently aligned to the Vero genome to remove host cell reads, using Bowtie2. This alignment step produced unmapped paired-end reads in forward and reverse FASTQ files, that were then used to assemble the N. caninum apicoplast genome.
