资源简介:
This mixed-methods research project aimed to investigate the multimodal resources used in EFL classrooms and to understand teachers' opinions regarding these resources. The study involved 20 Mathayom English teachers from public high schools in Chonburi, Thailand, comprising 15 Thai teachers and five foreign teachers. These participants had extensive teaching experience and were familiar with various types of classroom materials. For the qualitative research component, five Mathayom teachers were selected based on their experience. Data was collected through a questionnaire and teacher observations of the multimodal resources used in the classroom. The questionnaire responses were analyzed for mean and standard deviation (SD), and a 5-point Likert scale was used for scoring and interpretation. Open-ended responses were analyzed qualitatively through narrative analysis. The results showed that the most commonly used multimodal materials in classrooms were interactive PowerPoint presentations, Canva, and Google Slides. Teachers expressed positive opinions about all types of multimodal resources used in the highest-ranking classrooms. Most teachers supported the use of additional multimodal resources, as they believed these materials enabled more efficient teaching.
