Supplementary Material for the Article "The Hypothesis of Slavs Adopting the Runic Writing Challenged"

The dataset includes radiocarbon dating of the rune bone and two reference bones previously published in the article by Macháček et al. (2021). Additionally, an output report (Quarto) with R code (Quarto) is included, in which we used the oxcAAR library (Hinz et al., 2021) and the OxCal program (Bronk Ramsey, 1995) to calibrate the radiocarbon dates according to the IntCal20 radiocarbon curve (Reimer et al., 2020).
