Sea ice thickness in Southern Beaufort Sea

Provide information on the large-scale spatial and thickness distributions of different sea ice types and extreme ice features (EIF) in the southern Beaufort Sea. Observe interannual variability and develop Canadian capacity for airborne sea ice surveys. The project is co-funded by the Canada Research Chair program, Canadian Arctic Sea Ice Mass Balance Observatory (CASIMBO), and the German Polar Airborne Measurements and Arctic Regional Climate Model Simulation Project (PAMARCMIP).
