Prokaryotic microbiomes associated with tea litter decay - associated soil microbiomes

Green and rooibos tea litters were collected from 37 Australian coastal and freshwater wetlands after 12 months of decomposition. This dataset includes soil-associated prokaryotic microbiomes taken adjacent to the tea assessed by 16S amplicon sequencing. Tea-associated microbiomes are available at PRJEB44018. In addition to the microbiomes, data associated with this study include tea litter decay rates and a structural equation model using the decay and microbiome data.
