Yashwant Lake, in the southern part of Toranmal plateau is a serene lake fully covered by thick
vegetation on its banks. Currently it stands as a topographical depression growing with overgrown
grass and garbage. The lake’s use as a dumping ground has raised health concerns for the local
population. This can be countered by rejuvenating the Yashwant Lake.
