Dataset for: Changes in Soil Microbial Community Structure and Root Biomass in the Medium Term After Pasture Use

Raw data set containing soil enzymatic activity (arylsulfatase, β-glucosidase, and acid phosphatase) at 0-10 and 10-30 cm depths; basal soil respiration at 0-10, 10-30, 30-60, and 60-100 cm depths; and litter and root traits (biomass, morphology, and C/N stoichiometry) at the 0-10 cm depth across two periods of land use (9 and 22 years). The dataset also includes soil microbial community structure (PLFA markers) at 0-10 and 10-30 cm depths, evaluated exclusively at the 22-year mark. Samples were collected from a Ferralsol under Eucalyptus, Pasture, and Natural Succession in the Atlantic Forest biome.
