Portuguese Rural Fire Database - PRDF (1980-2025)
收藏资源简介:
The Portuguese Wildfire Database (PRFD) provides a continuous 45-year time series spanning from 1980 to the present, constructed through a comprehensive temporal harmonization process. The PRFD consolidates five historical databases with distinct structures into a unified, traceable, and fully georeferenced dataset that integrates multiple data sources. To ensure long-term accessibility, transparency, and exact reproducibility. The database architecture is structured around a core event file linked to three specialized extensions: The FOGOS File: This file contains a comprehensive list of all fire events and their final burned area. It integrates a wide array of parameters, including physical variables (altitude, slope, exposure hours, terrain roughness, and road density), fire behavior parameters, ecosystem and landscape characteristics, human and socioeconomic impacts, fire management actions, and baseline meteorological observations recorded at the ignition of each fire event. The METEO file: Adds detailed hourly meteorological records captured during the active duration of each fire event, encompassing temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, wind direction, and rainfall, alongside the Fire Weather Index (FWI) and its associated sub-indices. The PBA (Perimeters of Burned Area): Contains the spatial annual burned-area perimeters mapped continuously since 1975 to 2025. The FRP (Fire Radiative Power) : Integrates all SEVIRI FRP observations collected across mainland Portugal since 2004- 2024.
