资源简介:
Dataset Description This dataset contains the results produced by the JAGUAR software in two different setups: CYL-40 : Steady-state flow around a cylinder at Re=40 RH-400-20-4 : Turbulent flow in a rough heated channel at Reτ=400 These setups are used to assess the performance of a volume penalization method used to incorporate immersed boundaries. For each setup, two computations are provided: One with immersed boundaries using the volume penalization (VP) method One with a body-fitted (BF) mesh The files included in this dataset are: Coma-Separated Values (.csv) files containing post-treated results for the considered case Gmsh scripts (.geo) used for the mesh generation, when available. Gmsh version 4.13.5 was used to develop these scripts. Gmsh meshes (.msh) generated with the corresponding script file. Those are using the legacy ASCII 2.0 format. VTK files containing dense visualization data when available, in the .vtu format. The authors recommands the use of the Paraview visualization software to read and use those files. Please note that due to the nature of the spectral difference method, the visualization data provided is already interpolated on a refined version of the mesh using the polynomial interpolation. In the VP computations, this leads to non-physical oscillations near the interface, that can be filtered using a surface reconstruction alglrithm, which is not provided with this dataset. For the RH-400-20-4 setup, the .geo file for the BF computation is not included, as it depends on a custom Gmsh library containing functions used to mesh the hemispheres. Here is the global structure of the dataset. . ├── CYL-40 < Setup │ ├── BF < Case │ │ ├── CYL-40-BF.csv < Post-treated results │ │ ├── CYL-40-BF.geo < Gmsh script │ │ ├── CYL-40-BF.msh < Gmsh mesh file │ │ └── CYL-40-BF.vtu < Paraview visualization │ └── VP │ ├── CYL-40-VP.csv │ ├── CYL-40-VP.geo │ ├── CYL-40-VP.msh │ └── CYL-40-VP.vtu └── RH-400-20-4 ├── BF │ ├── RH-400-20-4-BF.csv │ ├── RH-400-20-4-BF.msh └── VP ├── RH-400-20-4-VP.csv ├── RH-400-20-4-VP.geo └── RH-400-20-4-VP.msh The JAGUAR software uses the Spectral Difference method to discretize the Navier-Stokes equations. The provided data was generated using the following parameters: The polynomial order was set to p=2 for the CYL-40 computations, and p=3 for the RH-400-20-4 computations. The Riemann solver used in the SD method was Roe's Riemann solver. The diffusion scheme used in the SD method was the he first scheme of Bassi and Rebay (BR1). The solution points are the Gauss-Chebyshev nodes of the first kind. The internal flux points are the Legendre-Gauss nodes. The time integration scheme is the five-stages fourth-order in time Strong Stability Preserving Runge-Kutta (RK54SSP) scheme of Spiteri and Ruuth (RK54SSP).
