Sonic Hedgehog (SHH) signaling is a key regulator of embryonic development and tissue homeostasis, and is involved in gastrointestinal (GI) cancer progression. Here we show that SHH gene expression is down-regulated by chemotherapy drugs. Overall design: Human CRC cell line HT29 was treated with 100uM 5FU for 2h and total RNA was extracted and subject to sequencing. Untreated HT29 cells were used as control.
