A price survey conducted in Nagasaki City supermarkets revealed that the average price of 1 kg of strawberries in May 2024 was 1,769 yen. This is 249 yen cheaper than the national average of 2,018 yen. During the period from January 2015 to May 2024 (a span of 59 months), the highest price for strawberries in Nagasaki City supermarkets was recorded in December 2023 at 2,673 yen, while the lowest price was in May 2021 at 1,232 yen. The price difference between the peak and lowest price periods for strawberries in Nagasaki City area, namely December 2023 and May 2021, is 249 yen.
