Net profits of securities trading companies in mainland China 2001-2022

In 2022, securities trading companies in Mainland China generated net after-tax profits amounting to around 143 billion yuan in total. The net profit of the securities industry in China has been declining since 2015 when the value reached its peak of 244 billion yuan. 2019, was the first year indicating a recovery.
