Resolution of genome-wide molecular signals in canine mammary tumor model

Modeling molecular changes in breast cancer with naturally occurring canine mammary tumors and cross-organism analysis enables resolution of malignancy-specific processes. Overall design: 89 mammary tissue samples from 16 dogs of diverse breeds, where each dog was required to provide a minimum of one sample from each histological group: normal, pre-malignant, and malignant. Sequencing was performed using the Illumina HiSeq2000 platform.
