VPRS 14450 Register of Files, Soldier Settlement

This series registers files created for applicants under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act 1917. Details given are the registered number (or file number), the type of application, the surname, given name and address of the applicant, the estate and the parish in which it was located.At the front of the volume is pasted the standard instructions to clerical officers for the registration and raising of files and the accompanying cards used to record file management and correspondence details.
